I (john) have way too much to keep track of online. This blog along with my twitter, facebook, johnwilliamsnyder.com, posterous, etc…
I can really only keep track of one blog and that will be here.
I’m not sure what will happen here, but I need a break and really can’t keep it all up to make it great. Hope you understand.

This music video is amazing. I wish we saw more of this creativity in Church and in ministry. I wish instead of the Church following culture we could get to the point that culture was looking at the Church for ideas and insight.
How do we make that happen?
Or, on the other hand, does it matter?

If you work in a church what resources are your favorites?
In your position, what software or resources are using at least twice a week?
Let us know. We are always looking for new stuff.

People were drawn to him. He always had a crowd gathered around him. Why was this? I think there were many reasons, but one I like was that he was a risk taker. He wasn’t normal. He was so far outside the box for his day.

If you have never seen Standard Theme, you have now. I use it and I love it. John Saddington has outdone himself. If you are looking for a great theme for a blog or a community site or maybe even a website this is the theme to use. Check out the 8bit network to see how John has changed and used this new theme. Another friend who is using this theme is Tony Steward. Expect good things from his blog as well.

What is the reason your church has a website?
I ask because I think every church has a different reason. The reasons may range from; to just provide info, to connect or because everyone else has one.

The question is, what are you going to do with it?

Our guest blogger today is Hans Plum. Hans is a husband, father and strength and conditioning coach in Edmond, OK. He owns CrossFit405 and regularly speaks on fitness and nutrition.
Not a Spiritual Workout…
If you have grown up in the church, or have met anybody that has, then you more than likely are very clear that “our body’s are a temple”. If you have not heard this, a quick google search will point you to 1 Corinthians chapters 3 and 6. This has been used to preach sexual purity, and cause much debate about tattoos and body piercing (albeit the debate is purely within the confines of the collective church).

One of our friends, Jeremy Zach, had the opportunity to go to Haiti a couple weeks ago.
Here are a few snippets of what he learned:
- The Haitian Church unlocked a renewed value for worship. Just do it and let loose – dancing, singing, screaming, etc…
- Meeting spiritual needs helps shine light on how one can meet a physical need.
- Prayer works and is powerful. Leave long periods for prayer. Never cut short prayer times.
To see the rest of what he learned and to see some videos and pictures he posted visit his website.

Toy Gun is an independent film company that was started by Brent Green, a friend of mine (John) from Oklahoma, and Jeff Goldberg.
They are a fairly new company and they are doing some cool things. They have been working on some short films and hope to produce a full length feature in the near future.
